What we receive when you ask SellTechDubai for a price, what we do with it, and how to ask us to delete it.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send. That is usually a name or how you prefer to be addressed, a WhatsApp or phone number, sometimes an email, a description of the equipment, photos, and an address or area if you want collection. For a business job we may also receive an asset list, a company name, and a facilities or accounts contact.
We do not need your Emirates ID, passport, or a copy of a trade licence to start a valuation. If a particular payment method later requires identification, we will say so then — not as a condition of the first quote.
What we use it for
To quote, to arrange a collection or a drop-off, to pay you, and to keep a record of what was bought so the two sides agree on the same list. We do not sell that information. We do not add you to an advertising list. We do not pass the number to other buyers.
WhatsApp, phone and email are the channels you opened. Replies stay on those channels unless you ask to move the thread.
Equipment that still has your data
A laptop, desktop, server or console may still hold files, accounts or a login. You can keep the drives and we will price the machine without them. If the drives stay in, they are erased before the hardware moves on. Do not send passwords, PIN codes or recovery keys in the opening message. Factory reset a console and sign out of Find My / Activation Lock on a Mac before handover if you can — that protects you more than it helps us.

How long we keep it, and deletion
We keep what we need to complete the job and to answer a later question about what was collected or paid. If you want the conversation and any photos deleted after the sale — or after you decide not to sell — email info@selltechdubai.com from the same address or number you used, or write on WhatsApp and ask for deletion.
Payment records (a transfer confirmation, a cash acknowledgement on a large job) may need to be kept for accounting. If you need a copy, or you need to know what we still hold, ask. Trade licence and TRN details for our side of a business invoice: [BUSINESS INFORMATION REQUIRED].
This site
The public pages do not require an account. The quote form on contact opens WhatsApp with a line you can edit. It does not create a login. If we add analytics or a cookie banner later, that will be described here. Today, treat this page as the rule for the information you send us directly.
